As a donation-supported equine rescue nonprofit, we rely on community support to provide horse rescue, rehabilitation, long-term care, and responsible rehoming opportunities, including guidance for owners who need help with horse intake or adoption options.

Our Mission

CS Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation exists to provide safety, stability, and care for horses who need time, support, and responsible management. We focus on rescue, rehabilitation, and long-term care, ensuring each horse receives individualized attention in a calm and supportive environment. Our work is guided by patience, respect, and thoughtful stewardship, with the goal of improving quality of life and promoting humane care.

What We Provide

Rescue

Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation

We provide a safe place for horses in need, offering intake and care during times of transition or uncertainty. Our rescue efforts include intake support, evaluation, and careful planning to ensure the best possible outcomes for horses in need.

Rehabilitation

Each horse receives individualized care focused on recovery, routine, and long-term well-being based on their specific needs. We provide individualized rehabilitation and care with the goal of preparing many horses for long-term homes, including opportunities for adoption.

Long-Term Care

Outreach & Education

Outreach & Education

Some horses require ongoing support due to age or circumstance. We provide a stable, supportive environment where they can live comfortably and receive consistent care.  Some horses remain here for lifelong care; others become available for rehoming as they progress.

Outreach & Education

Outreach & Education

Outreach & Education

We are developing an outreach and education program designed to connect the community with horses in meaningful ways. This program will offer opportunities for children, students, and community groups to visit, learn about horse care and welfare, and interact with horses in a safe, supervised setting. Our goal is to promote empathy, responsibility, and understanding through hands-on learning experiences.  We also educate horse owners and the public about responsible equine care and compassionate transitions.

How You Can Help

CS Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation depends on community support, generosity, and donations to continue providing daily care, veterinary support, rehabilitation, rescue intake guidance, educational outreach, and rehoming efforts.

Contributions help make it possible to provide daily care, veterinary support, and long-term stability for horses in our program, as well as respond when new rescue opportunities arise. Support also allows us to grow educational and outreach efforts that connect the community with responsible horse care and welfare.

Every form of support—big or small—plays a role in helping us carry out our mission and expand our impact.
